Princeton assistant coach Nate Franks '07 has accepted a fulltime position with U.S. Field Hockey as a program analyst. In his new role he will work with both the men's and women's national teams. Franks has worked with U.S. Field Hockey since the 2012 London Summer Olympics.

"It is no coincidence that Nate was on staff during the most successful season in Princeton field hockey's history," said head coach Kristen Holmes-Winn. "He is a talented coach, analyst and most importantly an exceptional person. We will all miss him dearly, but are excited about his new opportunity with USA Field Hockey. They are very lucky to have him!"

In his first year back at Princeton in 2012, Franks helped guide the program to its first NCAA Division I National Championship. Princeton went 21-1, 7-0 Ivy and defeated 11 nationally ranked opponents.

Franks began working with the field hockey program as a student assistant, before graduating and joining the coaching ranks. He has worked at American and Bucknell, along with coaching internationally in Ireland with a club team.
