FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (3/9/13) - Junior Damon McLean finished 14th in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Arkansas on Saturday, March 9. It marked Princeton's final event of the indoor season.
McLean finished eighth in his flight with a jump of 15.44m (50-8) which came on his first attempt. He reached 15.26 on his second and 14.99 on his third attempt.
This was his first time competing in the national indoor championship. McLean was eighth at the 2012 outdoor championship with a PR of 16.03.
McLean won Heps titles in both the triple and long jump and was named the co-Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet.
The Tigers begin the outdoor season in two weeks in Florida during the University's spring break.
