Matt Siow, Emily Hahn and the Tiger tennis teams will head back into competition this weekend.

Princeton's tennis teams, both ranked in the ITA top 75, will continue their dual-meet seasons this weekend with the men at home in Jadwin Gym and the women facing No. 3 Duke.

The women (4-1), ranked 70th in the nation, will meet Duke at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Blue Devils are the highest-ranked team the women have faced since taking on No. 2 Northwestern on Jan. 31, 2010.

Duke (7-1) has won nine of the 12 all-time meetings, most recently in 2009 in Durham. Princeton's win in the series came annually from 1982-84. In the individual rankings, Duke has four top-125 singles players, led by 14th-ranked Hanna Mar. Princeton counts 85th-ranked Amanda Muliawan as its nationally-ranked singles player. Duke has three ranked doubles pairs, led by seventh-ranked Mary Clayton and Ester Goldfeld, while the Tigers were without a pair on the Feb. 12 ITA list.

On the men's side, Saturday will be Campus Kids Day, a USTA initiative to get local youths interested in tennis. The Tigers (3-3), ranked 65th in the nation, will take on Fairleigh Dickinson (0-1) at 2 p.m. in Jadwin Gym, and free pizza, autographs, prizes, racquet stenciling as well as a free tennis clinic after the match (approximately 5 p.m.) for children in eighth grade and younger will be available. Sunday, Bucknell (3-2), which will meet Hofstra Saturday in a neutral-site match in Quakertown, Pa., will come to Jadwin Gym for a 10 a.m. match.

"We're excited to finally play a home match and we're looking forward to the matches this weekend," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "It should be a great atmosphere with the USTA Campus Kids Day. We'll also have ball kids for the doubles portion of the match with FDU, so that will add to the event. Hopefully we'll get a great turnout from many of the aspiring young tennis fans in the area."

Princeton has faced FDU in each of the last two seasons, beginning the series in 2011 and winning 7-0 in Jadwin in both seasons. The Tigers have never faced Bucknell, and the last Patriot League foe Princeton had was Army in a win at West Point back in 2007.

Princeton has third-ranked Matija Pecotic on the ITA national singles list and Pecotic and Zack McCourt at No. 29 on the doubles list.
