The Princeton women's tennis team will host Campus Kids Day during its Saturday match against Rutgers, the first of two matches this weekend.

The Tigers will follow up the Rutgers match Saturday at noon against another Big East foe, Seton Hall, Sunday at 11 a.m.

Campus Kids Days are a United States Tennis Association initiative designed to unite local youth interested in tennis with local college programs. Kids who attend Saturday's match will receive free pizza and drinks, information on 10-and-under programs from area clubs, racquet stenciling, Princeton and Rutgers prizes, and autographs from players of both teams.

The Tigers had hoped to enter the match coming off a productive weekend at the ECAC Championship, but that event, scheduled to be played at Harvard this past weekend, was wiped out by Winter Storm Nemo. Princeton, ranked No. 72 in the nation as of the most recent ITA rankings on Feb. 12, will enter the match at 2-1 on the season and will learn of its new team and individual rankings on Tuesday afternoon.

Rutgers, which has a match Wednesday in Manasquan, N.J. against Fairleigh Dickinson, stands at 1-1 with a win over Lehigh and a loss to Delaware. Seton Hall, at 0-2 with losses to Army and Binghamton, will have a match Friday at NJIT.

As of the most recent individual rankings on Feb. 12, Princeton had freshman Amanda Muliawan at No. 85 in the nation on the singles list, while Rutgers had Vanessa Petrini at No. 99.

Princeton has a 33-2 record all-time against Rutgers, including two matches against Douglass. The teams have played every year since 1981, with Rutgers' wins coming in 1995 and 1996. Princeton has won 16 straight in the series.

Against Seton Hall, the Tigers have a 7-1 series advantage, first meeting in 1995 with Seton Hall's win coming in 1996. The teams last met in 2010, a 7-0 Tiger win, Princeton's fifth straight win in the series.
