Senior Casey Cortes has more than 40 victories in her Princeton squash career, and many of them have come deep into the match. She showed her resilience early, rallying from a match ball down against Yale as a freshman and ultimately pulling out a crucial win.

Little has changed since then for Cortes, who continues to win big match after big match. She is 5-1 over the last two Howe Cups, and she is hoping to lead the team to its first Ivy League title in her career, a process that would begin this weekend with home matches against both Dartmouth and Harvard.

Cortes is plenty familiar with the latter. She is a native of Cambridge, Mass., and her older sister Cece played for the Cambridge during its championship run last season. Casey, however, has been thrilled with her decision to come to Princeton, and she talks about that, as well as the current team and her ability to win under pressure on this senior profile for GoPrincetonTigers.TV.
