Senior forward Ian Hummer has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week for his efforts against Drexel Saturday.

Hummer scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had five assists as the Tigers came up short against the Dragons, 64-57.

It was the third-highest scoring total for Hummer this season, who also had games of 28 and 25 points this season. His 28-point game at Lafayette on Nov. 24 reset his career best.

The award is Hummer's third of his career after one each as a sophomore and junior, while he was also a two-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week in the 2009-10 season. The award is Princeton's second this season after Will Barrett won the opening honor on Nov. 12.

Hummer leads the Tigers with 15.0 points per game, seven blocks, 39 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game. During Saturday's game, Hummer moved past Gabe Lewullis '99 into 10th place on the Princeton career scoring list, now with 1,290 points, and he is just two behind Bud Haabestad '55 for ninth place.
