Princeton freshman Amanda Muliawan won the USTA/ITA regional singles title Tuesday at Army, completing her run with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Columbia's Kanika Vaidya.

Muliawan has won 10 matches in a row since the team returned East from their season-opening tournament at Missouri. At the regional, Muliawan won her first four matches in straight sets before battling back from a first-set loss in the semifinal and taking the final in two sets Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, Muliawan gains an automatic berth into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships Nov. 8-11 at the National Tennis Center in New York.
