When women's swimming and diving head coach Susan Teeter talks about "Tradition," it is about more than the Ivy-best 20 league titles won by the Orange and Black. Her program has consistently worked towards helping those less fortunate, and Princeton helped Sienna's Splash to a big victory this past weekend.

The women's swimming and diving team hosted "Sienna's Splash" last Saturday, a Princeton swim-a-thon to battle FOP (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva). The event was in honor of Sienna Otto, the daughter of former Princeton swimmer Rory McCloskey Otto '00, and it was held at DeNunzio Pool.

The event raised over $62,000, which was generated by over 254 donations from across the world, from Princeton to Korea. That raised the level of donations from the past year to more than $112,000 for the year.

"Rory sent out an email after the event and said that the Princeton Swimming family does not end with graduation," Teeter said. "I couldn't agree more, or feel more pride about it. I was so pleased to see our present Tigers work to help one of our alums raise money for such a worthy cause. I'm very proud that this Princeton family came together for such a great event."

Of course, there is still time for people to donate. Please visit www.ifopa.org or www.thesiennafoundation.org to learn more about FOP.
