Following its 11-game road swing, the No. 16 Princeton men's water polo team returns to the comforts of home at DeNunzio Pool to square off with Bucknell Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.

This will be the Tigers (8-8, 2-1 Southern) second meeting with the Bison (6-8, 0-3 Southern) in 2012, as Princeton defeated Bucknell, 13-9, for third place at the North-South Invite on Sept. 16. Both squads will meet once more during the regular season, this time in Lewisburg, Pa. on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m.

Princeton returns to the East Coast following its 1-4 road trip in Southern California. The Tigers faced all top-20 opponents over the trip in: No. 1 USC, then-No. 3 Stanford, then-No. 10 UC San Diego, then-No. 19 St. Francis and they saw their lone victory versus No. 17 Santa Clara, 13-8. The victory over SCU was the Tigers' first versus a ranked opponent on the year.

Entering this weekend, Drew Hoffenberg leads the team with 32 goals, 42 steals, 19 assists and 34 ejections drawn. Hoffenberg leads the team in nearly every category except assists, as Sam Butler has 25 for a team-best.

In goal, freshman Alex Gow earned invaluable minutes in the cage, starting all five games in the Golden State. He has 81 saves and a .443 saves percentage, while tallying 16 steals and four assists over 12 games played.

CWPA Southern rival Bucknell is still searching for its first conference victory entering Saturday's contest. Mike Kimble leads the Bison with 32 goals and Alex Nowlin is the assist leader with 28. Defensively, Matt Napoleton has started all 14 games in goal. Behind a .487 saves percentage, he's made 128 saves and allowed 135 goals against.

The Tigers remain at home next weekend, facing Navy and Johns Hopkins for the second time on Saturday, Oct. 13.
