Penn Invitational Has Winning Start for Men's Tennis

• Princeton had a successful first day at the Penn Invitational in Philadelphia Friday, going 7-1 in singles and 5-1 in doubles play.

• Zack McCourt, Jonathan Carcione, Dan Richardson, Michael Lin, Ben Quazzo, Mohamed El Tonbari and Michael Katz were all singles winners, while McCourt and Dan Davies, El Tonbari and Katz, and Carcione and Richardson won in doubles, the second two pairs winning twice as McCourt and Davies had a first-round bye.

• Saturday's play will begin at 9 a.m. and the tournament will wrap Sunday.
