No. 3 UCLA Deals Women's Soccer a Defeat in California

• Princeton defeated by UCLA 7-0 Friday night at the UCLA Soccer Classic in Los Angeles.

• Princeton drops to 2-2-1 with the loss, while No. 3 UCLA improves to 6-0-1.

• Princeton will face UC Irvine, a 4-0 loser to No. 18 Pepperdine Friday, Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on UCLA's pitch.

• UCLA led 6-0 at half, scoring in the seventh, 18th, 22nd, 24th, 26th and 38th minutes, adding the final goal in the 76th minute. Zakiya Bywaters and Taylor Smith each had two goals for UCLA.

• Senior Claire Pinciaro played the entire game in net for Princeton, grabbing 10 saves.

• Senior Jen Hoy had two of Princeton's five shots, while Jessica Haley had Princeton's shot on goal, a save made by UCLA's second goalkeeper, Alana Munger, in the 52nd minute.
