Women's Track & Field Wraps Up Florida Trip

Day 1 Recap

ORLANDO, Fla. (3/24/12) - The Princeton women's track & field team completed its first meet of the 2012 outdoor season on Saturday, March 24 at the University of Central Florida Invitational in Orlando.

Junior Greta Feldman was the runner-up in the 800 running in at 2:08.01. Classmate Alexis Mikaelian finished third at 2:09.24. Sophomore Kacie O'Neil was fourth at 2:10.07, freshman Cecilia Barowski was fifth at 2:11.32 and junior Molly Higgins was sixth at 2:11.54.

In her first attempt in the 400-meter hurdles of the season, junior Joie Hand placed third. Hand made the lap in 1:00.68 a new PR.

Freshman Nonny Okwelogu was seventh in the discus throwing to 48.59 (159-05).

Sophomore Imani Oliver placed ninth in the triple jump reaching 12.38 (40-7.50) on her sixth attempt.

Princeton also compete in the Walt Disney World Invitational on Friday. Results will be reported when they become available from the host.

The Tigers return home to host the Sam Howell Memorial Invitational on April 6-7.
