-Brian Taylor '84, who played in the ABA and NBA and now helps run inner-city charter schools, will be honored at halftime of the Harvard game.

-The 11-win improvement from the 2007-08 to 2009-10 seasons is already tied for Princeton's largest in two or fewer years all-time. Between the 1918-19 and 1919-20 seasons, Princeton jumped from 5 to 16 wins.

-Princeton's win at Columbia gave the Tigers 17 for the season, their highest win total since the team's last winning season in 2005 (17-13). A win over Dartmouth would mark just the second time in the post-Bill Carmody era (2000-01 to the present) in which Princeton has won as many as 18 games. Princeton went 20-8 in 2004.

-A win over Dartmouth would bring Princeton to nine Ivy victories, its most since going 10-4 in 2006. Princeton won at least 10 Ivy games annually from 1994 to 2004, but 2006 has been the only occasion since.

-Princeton is 73-7 against Dartmouth and Harvard in Jadwin Gym since the two schools made their first visits to the facility in 1970. Against Dartmouth, the Tigers won 36 of their first 37 games in Jadwin, with a 10-point loss in 1987 as the exception. The Big Green, however, have won two of the last three in Jadwin, and by a total of four points. Against Harvard, Princeton has won 20 straight games in Jadwin Gym after absorbing all four of its losses in a six-year period from 1984-1989.

-Through Sunday's games, Princeton remained ranked No. 1 in the nation in scoring defense at 52.6 points per game. Northern Iowa, at 55.3 points per game, was second. Princeton's next-highest ranking was in field goal percentage defense, where the Tigers' .400 average ranked 38th.

-The 35-second shot-clock era record (since 1993) for scoring defense is 50.9 ppg allowed, held by the 2004 Air Force team coached by Princeton alum Joe Scott '87. The shot-clock era record (since 1985, at 45 seconds) belongs to the 1992 Princeton team that held opponents to 48.2 ppg.

-With the win at Columbia, Princeton completed a 6-1 Ivy road season, the team's best since sweeping the circuit in 2004.

-Last Friday's loss at Cornell was the first this season in which either of Princeton's centers, Pawel Buczak or Zach Finley, scored in double digits. Princeton had been 4-0 when one of those players reached at least 10 points.

-Princeton still has not lost a game by more than three points since Dec. 3, a 14-point loss at Rutgers. Since then, Princeton has gone 15-4 with the four losses coming by a combined 11 points.

-Princeton is holding its Ivy League opponents to 49.4 points per game and scoring 58.1 points per game on its own. Overall, the difference is 59.2 ppg scored to 52.6 ppg allowed.

-Friday's game against Dartmouth will put the No. 1 scoring defense in Division I against the lowest-ranked scoring offense in D-I, as Princeton gives up an average of 52.6 ppg and Dartmouth scores an average of 53.9 ppg.

-Douglas Davis and Dan Mavraides account for 42.2 percent of Princeton's scoring on the season overall and 40.4 percent in the Ivy season. While Davis has been the team's leading scorer all season long and was the first freshman in program history to lead Princeton in scoring last season, Mavraides (with 312 points) is just one point behind Davis this season heading into the last Ivy weekend.

-With 312 points this season, Dan Mavraides has already surpassed his career total entering this season (290). Against Columbia, Mavraides passed the 600-point mark (now with 602), becoming the third current Tiger to reach 600 after Zach Finley (610) and Douglas Davis (646).

-Last time against Dartmouth, in a 54-38 win, Princeton got off to a slow start after a big road victory at Harvard the previous night. Though Princeton trailed 21-19 at the break, the Tigers went on a 9-0 run bridging halftime to take the lead and got a 10-0 run during the last five minutes to put it away. Seven Tigers scored, and five either had or were within a basket of double-figures with Ian Hummer scoring a game-high 11 points. Kareem Maddox led all rebounders with nine boards, and Princeton outshot Dartmouth 42.5 percent to 36.4 percent in the second half.

-Dartmouth's last visit to Jadwin Gym was the Carril Court dedication on Feb. 21, 2009. The Big Green trailed by as much as 13 in the first half but rallied for a 66-63 win. Dartmouth's Alex Barnett, who went on to become the Ivy League Player of the Year and spend the 2009-10 season playing in France and Finland, led all scorers with 22 points.

-Dartmouth's Kirk Crecco and Princeton's Patrick Saunders are both from Gilford, N.H., though Crecco went to Gilford High and Saunders to the independent school New Hampton.

-Last time against Harvard, the Crimson recovered from shooting 25.9 percent in the first half to threaten Princeton before ultimately falling 56-53. After Harvard scored the first six points, Princeton went on a 29-11 run. The Tigers were up by 14 with less than five minutes to play and by eight with less than a minute left. Harvard cut the eight-point deficit to one in a span of 44 seconds, but Kareem Maddox hit two free throws and Jeremy Lin couldn't hit the last-second three-pointer, allowing Princeton to hold on. Lin had a game-high 19 points, while Maddox and Dan Mavraides had 14 apiece to lead Princeton.

-In the Harvard game, Crimson rookie Kyle Casey had a game-high nine rebounds while the Tigers won the battle on the glass 30-27. Harvard was without sophomore Keith Wright, the team's second-leading rebounder, who missed five of the six games starting with the Princeton contest.

-Junior Kareem Maddox had a career night at Columbia, recording his first career double-double and first double-double for any Tiger this season with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The 17 points topped his previous career best of 16 from his freshman season, and the 10 rebounds matched the career-best 10 he grabbed against Maine last season.

-Dan Mavraides has had four 20-point games this season, and three of those have come in the last five games.

-Patrick Saunders tied a season high with six rebounds at Columbia. His 11 rebounds on the Cornell-Columbia weekend are a season high for a two-game stretch.

-Marcus Schroeder's five assists at Columbia were his most since the game at Yale on Jan. 30 when he had six.

-Zach Finley is shooting 10 for 15 (.667) from the field in the last five games. Fellow senior center Pawel Buczak is 8 of 13 over the last four games (.615).

-Princeton has started the same five -- seniors Marcus Schroeder and Pawel Buczak, junior Dan Mavraides and sophomores Patrick Saunders and Douglas Davis -- for the last 22 games.

-Through Thursday's games, three Tigers were ranked among the top 250 players in the nation in a statistical category. Douglas Davis' 2.3 three-pointers per game ranked 113th. Dan Mavraides' 2.0 three-pointers per game ranked 208th. Marcus Schroeder's 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio ranked 79th and his 1.7 steals per game ranked 118th.

-Princeton is 14-2 this season when it shoots 40 percent or better. The Brown loss was just Princeton's second defeat when hitting the 40 percent threshold, with the other loss coming at Cal in November.

-Princeton is 9-0 when it shoots 50 percent or better, with the win at Columbia as the most recent instance.

-After Princeton recorded at least one block in each of the season's first 22 games, the Tigers have had none in the last three.

-Princeton is 2-6 when it gets outrebounded and 15-2 when it controls the glass.

-Princeton is 10-0 this season when it scores more than 60 points, as it did most recently at Columbia.

-Princeton is 12-1 this season when it leads at the half, 4-7 when it trails and 1-0 when it is tied. The loss to Brown was Princeton's only defeat of the season when it had a halftime lead.

-Princeton ranks No. 1 in the Ivy League on the season overall in four statistical categories, including scoring defense (52.6 ppg), field goal percentage defense (.400) and rebounding defense (28.7).

-Princeton is 7-1 when Ian Hummer scores 10-plus points, including seven straight wins, and 14-3 when Dan Mavraides hits double digits, as both did at Penn. Princeton's other records when players score at least 10 points are: Douglas Davis (12-3), Patrick Saunders (3-2), Zach Finley (3-0), Pawel Buczak (2-1), Kareem Maddox (3-1), Will Barrett (1-0), Marcus Schroeder (1-0) and Nick Lake (0-1).

-Sophomore Douglas Davis, with 646 points, has scored the most points of any Tiger through his freshman and sophomore seasons since Chris Young '02, who had 801 points in 1998-99 and 1999-2000.

-Douglas Davis ranks 13th in career three-pointers with 107. Davis is one of 12 Tigers to have at least 50 three-pointers in a season. Davis is just the sixth Tiger to have two seasons with at least 50 three-pointers made, joining Bob Scrabis '89, Sean Jackson '92, current assistant coach Brian Earl '99, Gabe Lewullis '99 and Kyle Koncz '08.

-Marcus Schroeder stands in fifth place on Princeton's career assist list with 281, passing head coach Sydney Johnson (280) during the Columbia game. Schroeder is also in fifth place on the career steals list, with 147. Johnson holds the record with 169.

-Douglas Davis has missed only one free throw since the return from finals break, going 19 for 20.

-Heading into the weekend's games, five Tigers are on top-20 Ivy statistical leader lists this season. They are:

Pawel Buczak: Offensive rebounds (8th, 1.6), Blocks per game (14th, 0.6), Assists per game (19th, 1.7)

Dartmouth has taken the league's fewest three-pointers with 323 on the season, making a league-low 28.8 percent and 3.6 per game ... the Big Green are also on the short end of the rebounding battle with a league-low -5.9 rebound per game disadvantage and 20.7 rebounds per game ... Dartmouth is in the top half of the league in offensive rebounds per game, however, with a fourth best 10.1 per contest.

On Harvard: The Crimson set a school record with 20 wins by beating Yale Saturday in Cambridge ... Harvard's previous record was 19, set in 1946 ... sophomore forward Keith Wright, Harvard's second-leading rebounder, played back-to-back games for the first time since January after suffering an Achilles injury ... since losing to Princeton, Harvard has not scored fewer than 70 points in a game, going 6-1 ... Harvard's only Ivy losses this season have come to Princeton and Cornell ... leading scorer Jeremy Lin (16.8 ppg) has led the team in scoring in five of its six losses and 11 of its 20 wins ... in the three games since the Cornell loss, rookie Brandyn Curry has gone 15 of 23 (.652) from the field and 9 of 13 (.692) from beyond the arc ... minutes for sophomore Max Kenyi increased significantly following the Princeton game, averaging 18.9 mpg after missing 12 games and then playing 11 minutes total in a three-game stretch that ended with Princeton ... Harvard has won three of the four games in which Jeremy Lin has not reached 10 points, including the last three ... 6-7 senior Pat Magnarelli returned last weekend from missing eight games, including the Princeton contest, due to injury ... Harvard has five players (Lin, Curry, Wright, Casey, Oliver McNally) ranked in the top 250 in an NCAA statistical category, with Lin's 2.6 steals per game ranking 15th in Division I ... Harvard is the No. 4 free-throw shooting team in the country (.770) ... the Crimson are also No. 11 in Division I in field goal percentage at .486 ... the Crimson have four players (Casey, McNally, Curry, Christian Webster) shooting 80 percent or better from the line ... McNally went off for a career-high 23 points two weekends ago against Columbia but has only four double-digit scoring games in the last 16 contests ...  Harvard is the No. 1 ranked team in the Ivy on the season overall in scoring offense (75.2 ppg), free throw percentage (.770), field goal percentage (.486), three-point percentage defense (.321), blocks (4.9), steals (8.0) and defensive rebounds (24.8).
