The undefeated Princeton men's swimming and diving team is currently 23rd in the CollegeSwimming.com Division I national rankings.

The four-time Ivy League champion is 3-0 on the young season, with Ivy victories over Brown, Cornell and Penn. It won the Brown Invitational during the first weekend of December, and it had several individual victories in the season-opening Big Al Open.

The Tigers have a trio of underclassmen who combine to rank in the Top 50 in four events. Sophomore Harrison Wagner, part of an All-America relay last season, is currently 30th in the 50 free (20.04) and 49th in the 100 free (44.19); Wagner's spot in the 100 is two places behind freshman teammate Jeremy Wong, who is 47th in the event (44.16).

Freshman En-Wei Hu-Van Wright also has Top 50 times in both back events. His 100 time of 48.20 is currently 42nd in the nation, while his 200 time of 1:45.52 is 43rd.

The freshman class, which came into Princeton ranked fifth by CollegeSwimming.com, has shined early in its career. Besides Wong and Hu-Van Wright, Princeton has seen numerous rookies earn victories this season, including Marco Bove, Teo D'Alessandro and Byron Sanborn from the tri-meet with Cornell and Penn.

Princeton also has a pair of upperclassmen who have been honored at the Ivy League Championships, which will debut in Providence March 7-9. Senior diver Stevie Vines is a multiple-time champion and the 2011 Diver of the Meet, while junior distance specialist Paul Nolle shared top scorer honors last season.

Princeton will return to DeNunzio Pool Jan. 5 for an afternoon showdown with Patriot League power Navy. Last year, the Tigers won a thriller over the Midshipmen by five points; two seasons ago, Navy handed Princeton its only dual loss at DeNunzio Pool since it opened in 1990.
