13 Jack Ruth

2012: Team co-captain ... saw action in 30 games, starting nine ... tallied 13 goals, 14 steals, three assists and drew 20 ejections ... scored a pair of goals and drew an ejection versus No. 2 UCLA (9/9) and No. 1 USC (9/28) ... scored twice and dished an assist versus George Washington (10/20) ... scored a goal, tallied an assist and drew a pair of ejections versus Mercyhurst (11/18).

2011: Played in 30 games in his junior season and recorded eight goals, two assists and seven steals. Ruth matched a career-high when he scored two goals in a win over Fordham at home and added single goals in wins over Harvard, MIT and Connecticut College. He also scored in a loss to USC and a league win over George Washington. Ruth added a goal and drew two ejections in the first game at Southerns. Ruth collected a pair of assists in a win over Iona and had two steals in a win over Fordham.

2010: Appeared in all 27 games for the Tigers as a sophomore coming off the bench. Ruth contributed 10 goals, three assists and nine steals, while drawing 18 ejections. Ruth had three two-goal games, scoring twice in a loss to St. Francis, then recording back-to-back two-goal games at Easterns against MIT and Navy. Ruth netted single goals in wins over Johns Hopkins, George Washington and Redlands. He also added assists against Iona, George Washington and Navy and had two steals in the Iona win.

2009: Played in 24 games as a freshman and scored nine goals. He also added two assists and nine steals. Ruth scored his first two goals in a league win over George Washington and collected four goals during Fall Break in California, scoring twice in a win over Redlands and once each in losses to Stanford and UC Irvine. Ruth also had an assist in the Redlands win. He also added two postseason goals, scoring in the Southern opener against Gannon and the Eastern opener against MIT.

Ruth was a four-year starter for Wilson spending most of his time playing at the 2-meter position. As a senior, Ruth recorded 113 goals on 201 attempts for a 56% shooting percentage. He also drew 98 ejections, had 48 assists and 77 steals. As a junior, Ruth was selected a first-team All-America and was named to the Academic All- America team. Ruth was the captain of his high school team and was named the Pennsylvania state Player of the Year.  Ruth has also been a member of the Northeast Zone National Team and has competed in the Junior Olympics.
