The Princeton women’s water polo team enjoyed its first day in Boston Thursday in preparation for the 2013 NCAA Championship this weekend at Harvard. The day kicked off with the squad’s final pre-tournament practice in preparation for the quarterfinals tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. versus UCLA. The Tigers returned to a familiar site in Blodgett Pool to get in their final tournament tune up.

Following practice they enjoyed lunch at a team favorite the Hard Rock and celebrated the careers of the Class of 2013: Rachele Gyorffy, Laura Martinez, Saranna Soroka and Brittany Zwirner.

This evening the Tigers will join the other seven teams participating in the championship for the annual pre-tournament banquet hosted at Harvard. Each team will have a student-athlete representative speak and this year Gyorffy will take the stage for Princeton.
