Despite time and day changes due to snow blizzard Nemo, the Princeton women's basketball responded with a 68-37 victory over Brown Saturday in Providence, R.I. The win improves the Tigers to 13-5, 4-0 Ivy and extends their Ivy winning streak to 28.

Brown remained within range for much of the first half, capitalizing on a slow start and six Tiger turnovers over the first eight minutes.

Up only by one, 15-14, Michelle Miller answered scoring five straight points to lift Princeton to a 20-14 advantage at 9:23.

Brown countered with a basket to make it a four-point game, but it would be the closest the Bears would get for the remainder of the contest.

A Megan Bowen jumper and a pair of Blake Dietrick triples put the Tigers up by 12, 28-16 at 4:46, and Princeton preserved its double figure lead to go into halftime holding a 35-21 differential.

Six consecutive Bowen points lifted the Tigers to a 22-point lead, 45-23 at 16:50, and from there it was all Princeton for the rest of the game. The senior center finished with a team-high 12 points, going 6-for-12 from the field.

Classmate Niveen Rasheed scored in double figures for the 16th consecutive game with 10 points. She also nearly had her seventh double-double with nine rebounds, while adding a team-high six steals.

The Tigers shot 46 percent (29-for-63) from the field, while limiting the Bears to 25 percent (14-for-56). They also held a 46-37 rebounding and an 18-8 assist differential, with Lauren Polansky recording a team-high seven dishes.

Princeton heads next to New Haven, Conn. to square off with Yale (7-12, 2-3 Ivy) on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.
