PRINCETON (6/25/12) - Four members of the Princeton men's hockey team will be attending NHL Prospect Development Camps this summer. Rising senior Michael Sdao, and rising juniors Andrew Ammon, Jack Berger, Andrew Calof have each been invited to compete at the pro camps with other top prospects.

An Ottawa Senators draft pick, Sdao will attend the franchise's camp after missing it last year because of an injury. This is the third time he has attended the Ottawa camp, and his fourth overall NHL camp. Sdao scored 20 points on 10 goals and 10 assists in 30 games in 2011-12. He was the league's leading scoring defenseman and was named first-team All-Ivy League and second-team All-ECAC Hockey League.

This is Ammon's second invitation to the Washington Capitals camp. He had to decline last year's invitation as he was rehabbing form an injury. Ammon appeared in 24 games last year and had four goals and three assists. Highlighting the season was Ammon setting up the game-winning overtime goal in the playoffs at Yale and scoring the first goal in a three-goal deficit to nationally ranked Union, that ended in a 3-3 tie.

Calof is attending his first NHL camp with the New York Islanders. Calof played in all 32 games last year and led the team in scoring. He had 10 multiple-point games and finished the season with 31 points on 17 goals and 14 assists. He was named second-team All-Ivy League and won the team's Blackwell Trophy, presented to the player who contributed most to the sport.

Also attending his first camp is Berger, who will be at the Stanley Cup finalist New Jersey Devils camp. Berger finished second on the team in scoring this past season, playing in every game. He recorded six multiple-point games and collected 22 points on 10 goals and 12 assists. Berger was elected team captain for the upcoming 2012-13 season.
