BOX SCORE

Freshman Cody Kessel recorded 20 kills and nine blocks, while classmate Will Siroky added 12 kills and six blocks, to lead the Princeton men's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Baruch College Saturday night.

The win is Princeton's fourth in a row, and it sends the Tigers into a critical EIVA week with momentum. The Tigers will host NJIT Wednesday night and will travel to George Mason Saturday; they will need to win both to salvage any hopes for an EIVA postseason bid.

Baruch proved to be a worthy opponent, especially in the first and third games. Princeton fought off multiple set balls to claim a 31-29 win in the opener, but following a 25-11 Princeton win in the second, Baruch scored a 25-23 win in the third. Princeton ran off a 13-2 run midway through the fourth set to put the match away.

Sophomore Davis Waddell, playing for the injured Scott Liljestrom, recorded 34 assists for Princeton and helped the Tigers hit .303 for the match. Sophomore outside Jeff Stapleton recorded 12 kills, while both Daniel Tien and Ryan Poladian had four apiece.
