The Princeton baseball team snapped its two-game skid with a dominating offensive performance as they dropped Navy 10-1 Friday in Annapolis, Md. Behind 14 hits and a pair of four-run innings, the Tigers improved to 5-8 on the year.

Navy took a 1-0 advantage in the bottom of the first, but it would be the only lead the Mids would have in the game. The following inning, the Tigers took off with a four-run rally. With runners on first and second, Steve Harrington singled to right field to even the score. Two batters later, Alec Keller hit a two RBI single up the middle and Matt Bowman hit a sacrifice fly to center field to give Princeton a 4-1 lead.

In the fourth, Harrington hit a solo home run over the right field wall. The Tiger outfielder went 2-for-4, with three RBI and two runs in the game.

Princeton put together its second four-run inning in the top of the fifth. With two runners on, John Mishu hit an RBI ground-rule double. Sam Mulroy then hit a two RBI single to the left side and Harrington rounded out the scoring with an RBI sacrifice fly.

Alex Flink added a final run in the eighth with a two-out RBI single to right field.

Keller tallied four hits, three RBI and a run, and Mulroy was 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run in the game to lead the offense.

The Tigers' offensive output was supported with solid pitching from Kevin Link. He allowed only one run in eight innings of work. Link threw three strikeouts, while scattering seven hits in 32 batters faced. A.J. Goetz pitched the ninth inning, throwing two strikeouts.

Princeton faces Navy tomorrow, Saturday, Mar. 24 in doubleheader action. First pitch is at 12 noon, with game two slated for 2:30 p.m.
