Weber Captures First-Team All-Ivy League Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. (2/23/12) - Senior Rachel Weber of the Princeton women's hockey team received first-team All-Ivy League honors as the Ivy League announced its 2012 all-league teams on Thursday, Feb. 23.

A second-team selection last year, Weber has been Princeton's mainstay in goal since her sophomore season. So far this season, Weber has a 12-13-4 overall record with four wins coming by way of shutout. She has a .931 save percentage and a 2.02 goals against average making 780 saves.

In her career she has a 34-31-6 record with 13 shutouts, a 1.93 GAA and a .927 save percentage.

Weber has etched her name in the Princeton records book with her career not yet complete. She currently holds the record for longest shutout streak, is second in shutouts in a career, is fourth in total saves in a career, is fifth in wins all time and has the third-best goals against average. In addition, she currently has the best save percentage in school history.

Princeton will take on Harvard in an ECAC quarterfinal series this weekend, Feb. 24-26 at Harvard.
