Junior catcher Jack Murphy led a group of six Princeton baseball players to receive All-Ivy honors. Murphy was named the first team catcher for the second year in a row. Additionally, sophomore starting pitcher David Palms was named to the second team and four others received honorable mentions.

Murphy started all 37 games as catcher for the Tigers and batted .291 with 39 hits in 134 at-bats. He drove in a team-high 27 runs and scored 16 times. Murphy had 13 extra-base hits including eight doubles, a triple and four home runs. He was equally as strong defensively, throwing out 16 attempted base stealers. For his career, Murphy ranks sixth in career home runs (18), seventh in slugging percentage (.529), and first in fielding percentage (.989). Murphy was a first-team selection last year as a sophomore and was an honorable mention as a freshman.

Palms earned his first All-Ivy honors with his selection to the second team. Palms appeared in 10 games this season, making seven starts and three relief appearances. He was 5-2 with a 3.06 ERA in 50 innings of work and led team with five wins and three complete games. Palms had the lowest ERA on the team among starting pitchers and ranked second in the Ivy League in conference ERA (3.48) among regular starters.

Four Tigers earned honorable mentions this year as senior starting pitcher Brad Gemberling, sophomore reliever Matt Grabowski, senior second baseman Dan DeGeorge and junior designated hitter Dan DeGeorge were all recognized. DeGeorge received the third honorable mention of his career and was a second-team choice the other year, while the other three were all first-time honorees.
