PRINCETON -- Rising sophomore Susannah Scanlan won the women's epee title at the U.S. Fencing Summer National competition during the July 3-12 event in Grapevine, Texas. She and a dozen other current and former Tigers competed in events within their weapon, both by age group and by level of fencing achievement.

Scanlan won the Division I competition, which is the top level. Her victory gives her the opportunity to compete in the Senior World Championship in Antalya, Turkey on Oct. 2-5 for individual bouts and Oct. 8 for the team competition.

Below is the complete list of Princeton competitors, both alumni and current fencers, along with a video of the Scanlan gold medal bout, the gold medal bout of incoming freshman Eliza Stone in the under-19 sabre competition, and of incoming freshman Edward Kelley finishing second in the under-19 men's epee competition.
